SEK Costa Rica International School is an IB World School, offering the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme at the eleventh and twelfth grade levels. In ninth and tenth grade, our outstanding students are invited to join the International Baccalaureate Pre-Baccalaureate groups, where they are prepared for the comprehensive, coherent, and excellent education offered by the IB, progressively preparing students for the academic and personal challenges of higher education.
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB Diploma) enhances the student learning experience through continuous and rigorous assessment, fostering skills such as critical thinking, inquiry, creativity, autonomy, and communication.
