At SEK International School Costa Rica, children can begin their education as early as 18 months old and continue through high school. It all begins with the application for a place, followed by a one-on-one interview to get to know the family and explain our educational philosophy. SEK International School Costa Rica teaches primarily in Spanish and English, following a bilingual educational model. Students progressively acquire a command of English that allows them to reach an advanced level, complementing their education with communicative, cultural, and academic skills. Additionally, French is taught from first through ninth grade.

School hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., designed for the student’s academic and personal development. To support work-life balance, we offer a daycare service with extended hours:
